Getting the Source

  • Print

Some people want to build from source or modify the source code to their liking. So here's what you do:

You will need:

- Either SharpDevelop or Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or above.

- A SVN client (AnkhSVN or something else like TortoiseSVN).

After you have these utilities, you can either check out the trunk (stable) or the branch (unstable).

Trunk - http://mediaframework.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mediaframework/MediaFramework/trunk/

Branch - http://mediaframework.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mediaframework/MediaFramework/branch/

If you're using a command-line svn client, it goes something like this:

svn co http://mediaframework.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mediaframework/MediaFramework/trunk/

This project can be built on Linux or Mac OS X but it will not run due to the dependency on COM interop for the multimedia handling.

Building it is simple: just build the solution and you're ready to go. No special configuration is needed.
